Getting Ready For Your Appointment
Whether you’re due for a fireplace and chimney service or a vent service, here are a few things you can do to prepare:
- To keep your pets protected and clean, please keep them confined in another room during our visit.
- Please remove any fragile or precious items in the work area – our technicians typically need a 6 foot radius to set up equipment.
- If you are having your fireplace or chimney serviced, please clean the ashbox prior to our arrival. That way, we can see everything we need to see and get right to work.
- We ask that you don’t use the appliance in the 24 hour period leading up to your service appointment. This just helps ensure that the appliance is adequately cooled and that our technicians can work safely and efficiently.
If you haven’t yet made your appointment and aren’t having any emergency issues with your appliance, please keep in mind that the fall and winter are our busy seasons and we can get pretty booked. Spring and summer are the ideal times to schedule annual maintenance and cleanings.
