We live in an antique house built in 1809 that has three chimneys and five fireplaces. I needed a company that takes pride working in older homes and is willing to keep the integrity of the house. Todd and the Above and Beyond crew did a fantastic job restoring all chimneys and fireplaces to working conditions. On top of the great work my wife was blown away when a cleaning company came in at the end of the job to clean the house. Above and Beyond Chimney does it right and we highly recommend them. I recently contacted Todd Ramsay at Above & Beyond Chimney Service to evaluate my chimney. I had been told that the lining in the portion of the chimney that handled my furnace and oil-fired hot water heater was deteriorating. My house was constructed in the 1880’s and I have always strived to maintain it with high quality repairs and upgrades and I was concerned about the chimney issue. Todd came to the house and assessed the situation and determined that the best option was to insert a new liner in the 40′ chimney. He took the time to explain other options and why he felt this approach was the best solution. He made sure that the liner would be of sufficient capacity to handle the dual output of the furnace and water heater combined. Todd ordered the parts and arranged for a lift, and he and his crew arrived as scheduled. He had estimated a 2-day job and was able to complete all the work in just that. The men were extremely diligent and courteous. And they used protective tarps and cleaned up professionally when done. I would recommend Above & Beyond highly to anyone looking for expert chimney maintenance or repair.

Todd first came by to check out my chimney in the Fall. He said it needed to be re-lined, but that we should wait until Spring. Last weekend he stopped by to check in and let me know he could do the work in the upcoming week. I appreciated that he came back around 6 months later! The job was done in a timely manner, and he kept me informed as things progressed. He showed me the work he did, and left the work area clean. I was happy with his communication throughout, as well as the job done. I would highly recommend Todd for any chimney work!
